Palo Alto, Calif. On Thursday, July 10th, Pacific Property Company hosted its 4th Annual Top Dog Broker Recognition Golf Tournament at Tustin Ranch Country Club. Attended by more than 80 of the west coast's premier multifamily brokers, equity partners and lenders, the firm honored Marc Renard of Cushman Wakefield and David Dematteis of Marcus and Millichap (Palo Alto office), both of whom took Top Dog honors walking away with a 2003 Hummer H2 and 2003 Turbo Mini Cooper S, respectively.

Pacific Property Company hosts the annual event to recognize top-producing transaction sourcing brokers as well as their equity partners, lenders and property management providers. This year's co-sponsors included GMAC Commercial Mortgage, Wachovia Securities, First American Title, Stewart Title and Stratus Real Estate INC, all of whom are strategic partners of Pacific Property Company.

Cushman Wakefield's Marc Renard sourced and closed two transactions totaling more than $80M for Pacific, thus claiming Top Dog honors. As winner, Marc received a black on black 2003 Hummer H2. Likewise, Marcus and Millichap's David Dematteis claimed Top Dog honors in the small property category, sourcing $14M of transactions for Pacific. David received the gray 2003 Mini Cooper S, opting for the supercharged turbo model! Second and Third prize winners Karoline Sauls of Hendricks and Partners and Jeff Peldon of ReMAX walked away with Nike Irons and Woods. In addition, Pacific awarded several other gift items to attending brokers.

For Fiscal 2004, Pacific announced the new contest will include a BMW M3 for the winner and 42" Sony Plasma Screen TV's for every broker that completes an acquisition with Pacific. The prizes will be awarded at the 2004 Top Dog Tournament, to be held in the summer of 2004.
